The Challenge
Cork Direct had a website, but they did not have a way for customers to order online. They were only able to process orders when customers called. This caused a loss in revenue and left them with no way to measure their successes with online marketing. They also were relying on an expensive payment processing solution through their merchant account. Their third challenge was calculating shipping for online orders, since the majority of their orders needed to be shipped via freight carriers.
Our Approach
We moved their website from a standard HTML site to Shopify in 2022. After discussing the pain points they were facing, we helped them to streamline their online ordering for customers and implemented customized shipping calculators to determine freight rates and standard ground shipping rates. We also helped to integrate Quickbooks online to manage their finances and inventory and tax requirements, and lowered their payment processing fees and overall operational costs. We continue to work with Cork Direct to determine new opportunities and help them grow their revenue.
